The Receiver Module is a 1 11/16 inch tool that is deployed via slickline, electric line, coil tubing, or workstring. It is used to communicate with the wireless gauge downhole. Attached to the Receiver Module is a latching tool. The latching tool allows the Receiver Module to locate the wireless gauge downhole. The Receiver Module interfaces with the wireless gauge via electromagnetic communications, similar to Bluetooth communications to collect data from the wireless gauge. Once the data transfer is complete, the Receiver Module is pulled back to surface and the information is transferred to a PC for processing.
